We had breakfast in a little street cafe, a pho shop that only served big noodle bowls. It was grungy to our standards, but delicious. Everything, including the sauces was homemade. We squeezed limes and added fish sauce or garlicginger sauce and yum! Now we are in a little street cafe, drinking thick strong Vietnamese coffee poured over a little condensed milk. Wow!
We are about to drive out to Halong Bay, where we will be overnight on a traditional wooden boat in one of the most beautiful areas of Viet nam. We will post more photos when we can, although it may be several days.
