Remnants of the war

The area around Da Nang was the main US military base for the army and marines during the Viet Nam war.  There are still open areas and big craters in the earth in places.  Some areas don't have any large trees because of the heavy use of Agent Orange to deforest the area.  The airport is the original one built by the US military.  While most of the country had moved on, the ghosts are still barely visible here.
