The floating market on the Mekong

Boats full of fruits, vegetables, and other goods come together in a smaller tributary that runs through one of the larger towns in the area, Cay Be.  This town has a large stone church that rises above the smaller houses along the river. The market takes place by boat, with sellers coming up for days at a time, living on their boats until their goods are sold.  Townspeople zip put by boat to but what they need.  Sellers advertise their wares by hanging their produce from long poles above the boats, so people can tell from a distance before they boat over to buy.  Whole families live on these boats while they sell their supplies.
