Ta Prohm
This is also known as the 'Jungle Temple,'or, for fans of Angelina Jolie, the site where parts of her movie Tomb Raider were filmed. This temple was overgrown and in ruins, with giant trees and roots growing out, on, around, and under the stones. This temple was dedicated to a female form of the Buddha, in honor of the builder kings mother. This temple was also an ancient university and place of learning. Now it's a place of drama and interest. It's easy to see why this temple was used as a film site: the tree roots mixed with the standing temple ruins are incredible!
